Wood Burning Pizza Oven Equipment
There is nothing like freshly baked pizza from a wood burning pizza oven. It literally only cooks in seconds, which means you must have tools that can withstand heat temperatures of at least 800 degrees F. We have only the best tools to help you. Stainless steel ash shovels, rakes and brass bristle brushes, all with long sturdy handles, will help you retain and maintain the highest temperatures efficiently (well at least as efficiently as your oven permits). This means you will also burn less wood by properly stoking the fire on occasion. You can also use andirons and barriers to contain cinders and ash to help you maintain the intense heat. If you have either cooked or enjoyed wood fired pizza, you know seconds count. Quick use of our quality turning peel with our specially designed smooth-sliding, heat resistant plastic grip handle, safely withstands the intense heat. Whether you have a conventional pizza oven or wood fired oven, these accessories will save you time and money in the long run.
Professional and Consumer Line of Peels: Know the difference
We have two different lines of peels that serve different purposes when working with a wood buring oven. Our professional line of peels that is made with superior stainless steel, while our consumer line of peels is made with quality galvanized steel. Do not be fooled. We have noticed that some sellers of these products pretend that there is no difference. There is a difference not only in the price but in the frequency of use. Our professional stainless steel peel line is built for many repeated use, while the consumer peels are intended more for the casual user. One other difference is that our professional line has a perforated head (which is the best you can buy). The consumer head is solid. The perforations allow for any ash or flour (which may burn easily in the high heat) to be left in the oven instead of scooped up with a solid head peel.
